Marina Diaz and Thiago Talpo are medical assistants who specialize in the field of hair restoration. Together they have over 25 years combined experience assisting in procedures, as well as training medical staff. Ms. Diaz and Mr. Talpo are passionate about their work in hair restoration. Their enthusiasm, excitement, and professionalism are apparent to all who work with them. Prior to becoming independent technicians, Ms. Diaz and Mr. Talpo worked at Medical Hair Restoration for ten and six years, respectively, under Dr. Matt Leavitt, one of the pioneers of micrografting. While at MHR, Ms. Diaz and Mr. Talpo participated as trainers in the Orlando Live Surgery Workshops, where over the years, thousands of doctors from across the world received hands-on training in the most up-to-date technological advances in hair restoration procedures. Furthermore, Ms. Diaz served as the coordinator for the workshop for several years, in addition to participating as a trainer. In their work as technicians, Ms. Diaz and Mr. Talpo participated in thousands of surgeries over the years. Ms. Diaz and Mr. Talpo began practicing as independent contractors in 2011. Since then, they have assisted in over 1400 surgeries under more than 20 physicians specializing in hair restoration across the world, including Brazil, Honduras, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Sweden, as well as throughout the U.S. Additionally, they have traveled world-wide to train medical staff in countries including Brazil, Saudi Arabia, and Dubai. Ms. Diaz has degrees as a medical assistant, as well as in business administration. Mr. Talpo holds degrees as a medical assistant and X-ray technician. They are both committed to providing excellent care to their patients and physicians.
